A trailer is probably the option that is closest to the popup camper shell. A trailer needs a vehicle with a hitch on the back, which is most commonly on pickup trucks. The trailer is also similar to a motor home in that a camper can essentially live in it. It does not have the option of driving in it though. As the name implies, it trails behind another vehicle.
A popup camper shell is ideal for an individual camper. The small space is quite compact, so an entire family cannot fit in the space. If you are traveling alone, or making a cross country trip and do not want to pay high hotel fees, a popup camper shell may be right for you. The space is perfect if you just need a place to sleep. It is very convenient to be able to drive, and when you get tired, you can simply pull over to the side or to a parking lot, crawl in the back and sleep comfortably in a bed. No matter which option you choose for camping, it is an activity that no one gets tired of. Telling stories by the fire, cooking food over the fire, and spending quality time with friends and family is something that you cannot beat. Along with camping there are many other activities that you can do like hiking, swimming, boating, and bike riding. Although a popup camper shell is the most economically friendly and easiest option, a tent, motor home, or trailer will also suffice. Check local listings in your newspaper to see if there are any used popup camper shells, trailers, or motor homes. You may be able to find a great deal, and begin experiencing your fun camping adventures soon. |
